I mean honestly. In almost every single question I’ve seen. Someone answer’s because they have low self esteem.

I mean honestly. There’s more answer’s then, they have low self esteem. I think people say that just to make themselves feel better then other people. It’s all in your mind people. You can say they have low self esteem, but that doesn’t mean it. It just makes you feel like you have a better life then the other people, which probably isn’t true, if you have to keep reassuring yourself by saying other people have low self esteems.

Probably because it’s been proven that more people have self esteem issues nowadays then any other time. So, most just assume that’s the problem, or part of it.
I don’t think it’s fair, and although some people are bound to have self esteem issues it doesn’t mean that if you have a problem you have those issues.

Why do people rob bank? Because they needed the money, they like the high they get from doing something dangerous. To say low self esteem have anything to do with it does not make much sense to me. In fact, I think bank robbers think highly of themselves, otherwise they wouldn’t have the confidence to even plan it.
I agree with your last part of the rant. We are constantly comparing ourselves with others. Who is more educated? Who has the better life? Whose children are better behaved? Who makes more money?
Maybe goes back to the need to be the dominant person, as exhibited by animal species. We want to be admired as the better person, people to look up to us. We want people to be like us.
I have low self-esteem. It is my excuse for my poor quality of life and loneliness, but rarely beyond that.
My rant over. Hehe.

I believe you should never compare yourself to others. You’ll either feel inferior, which leads to low self- esteem, or you’ll feel superior, which leads to arrogance & feelings of entitlement. Neither are good qualities to cultivate. Live & let live, peacefully.
